The whistling of the teapot made me jump out of my dream. Gosh, I almost forgot it! I reached the kitchen, running as the crazy guy that I wasn’t (please, who did you think you were speaking to?), and rapidly removed the kettle from the hotplate. With a little smile, perfectly happy with myself, I turned and yelled at my sister:

“Oh, Caly, wanna some tea?”

Yeah well, I already knew she wasn’t going to accept but I asked anyway … Just because everyone knows I’m a good guy (hey, don’t go thinking writing English makes me even more selfish). I made myself a cup of tea, sweetened it with four spoons of sugar and swallowed it. And as the perfect evening that it was supposed to be, I got an awful cough, since my wonderful tea went down the wrong way. Caly asked me if I was okay and - guess what? – the least I could answer disappeared in a coughing fit. Charming. She laughed at me, claiming I should stop drinking … even tea. According to her, bad habits would never leave. I grumbled a “very funny” a bit muffled and ended my tea cup.

For the third time at least, I looked at my watch, checking the time. It was actually too soon to go out (since nothing was opened before 10pm) but I was deeply bored. I had like nothing to do and, desperately, I pulled a book out of a mess and began to read. Boring. Verdict : I still had nothing to do. And, let’s be sincere, I wouldn’t find anything at home. So what ? Was I supposed to go out and wait ? Ooooh … what if I went to the cinema ? A little detail came out of my mind at this time : alone, I still wasn’t going to have that much fun. Okay, so I needed someone to go out with. And here’s the one million question : who ? At the moment I was tormenting myself to grab a name, it kindly and clearly appeared in my mind.

So I went out, put my helmet before stopping and thinking it would perhaps be funnier to walk instead of taking my bike. No actually, it was a lie. I just didn’t want to let my bike at the girl’s home while I was hanging with her. And I didn’t have two helmets … in case she wanted to come with me. Finally, I couldn’t tell her to go at the cinema walking alone while I will go there driving. Let’s be logical ! This was just to say I decided to walk.

Something like thirty minutes after the beginning of my little “promenade” (unfortunately not on the shore but on the gravel), I knocked at a door and waited for somebody to open it. As I know her, Zoween would probably simulate her own death in order not to let me in. Not that she hated me … actually, it wasn’t the first time I came to her home, trying to make her come with me, drink something somewhere. It never worked so far. But I was determined to win, this time. So I yelled at the closed door :

“Zoo ! Are you hoooome ? Guess what ? I had a fabulous ideaaa !”
